Galactus

Pneumatic Manipulator with Rigid Arms

Galactus: Maximum Power and Precision for the Heaviest and Bulkiest Loads

The Galactus Pneumatic Manipulator is designed for the safe and precise handling of industrial heavy loads. Its rigid arm structure ensures stable and controlled movement, even for off-center and unbalanced loads. The advanced pneumatic balancing system allows operators to manage loads with minimal effort, maximizing efficiency and ergonomics in the workplace.

The Galactus model can be equipped with vacuum, gripper, and magnetic end effectors to meet different operational needs. These attachments adapt to various load types, ensuring a safe and efficient handling process.

With the ability to move 90°, 180°, and 360° along different axes, it offers flexibility in complex material handling operations. Its rigid arm structure and powerful balancing mechanisms enable the precise handling of heavy loads. Pneumatically controlled actuators and motors allow the operator to manually adjust the balance of the load within safety parameters, ensuring secure and efficient transportation.

General Features

  • Capacity: Up to 1,850 kg load handling capacity
  • Maximum Reach: 5,000 mm
  • Vertical Lift Range: 3,000 mm
  • Operating Principle: Uses dry, filtered (40 μm), and oil-free compressed air (min. 0.7/0.8 MPa)
  • Air Consumption: Maximum 995 nl/min

Mounting Options

The Galactus Manipulator is available in various mounting configurations to suit different industrial needs:

  • Galactus Column-Mounted (GLY) – Fixed to the floor via a stable column, providing a wide working area.
  • Galactus Overhead Trolley-Mounted (GLTA) – Mounted on a rail system, allowing flexible movement.
  • Galactus Overhead Mounted (GLT) – Fixed to the ceiling, maximizing efficiency in tight spaces.

Key Advantages

  • Rigid Arm Structure: Ensures stable handling of off-center and heavy loads.
  • Safe Handling: The pneumatic balancing mechanism provides precise movement control. Safety valves and locking mechanisms prevent uncontrolled load drops, ensuring maximum operator and equipment safety.
